Titan Quest

From the co-creator of Age of Empires, Brian Sullivan, comes an all-new action role-playing game set in the mythical worlds of ancient Greece and Egypt. In a genre filled with Diablo clones, Titan Quest is a visually stunning western-style RPG. It sticks to the formula of starting off as a regular town’s man-turned-warrior, will feature dungeons crawling with monsters, and women with low cut tops - lovely.

Although the above paragraph applies to every other game in the genre, after some hands-on time with the TQ demo, it became obvious that this game brings a lot more detail into the environments, such as grass being disturbed as you walk through it, and high-polygon models which can be zoomed in on - although the latter doesn’t help while you’re navigating the environments.

Titan Quest will be one of the prettiest games in the genre, but whether or not that will be enough to topple Diablo remains to be seen.
