Her Story, The Witcher 3, Ori and the Blind Forest Win Big at 2016 GDC Awards

The winners for this year's Game Developers Choice Awards have all been announced, with The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, Her Story, and Ori and the Blind Forest each claiming multiple accolades.

The Witcher 3 won the sought-after Game of the Year award, as well as Best Technology, while Her Story had the most wins with three: Best Handheld/Mobile, Best Narrative, and the Innovation Award. Ori and the Blind Forest, meanwhile, claimed Best Debut and Best Visual Art.

The nominees and winners are chosen by members of the Choice Awards Network, an invitation-only organisation made up of "leading game creators from all parts of the industry."

Ori is such a good game. Just been playing it again with the definitive edition, looks gorgeous and plays well.

I'm only about a third of the way though - will get back to it one day.

Tempted to pay the extra and get the Definitive Ed. though :)

Congrats to those winners, but even the nominated games were abundant in what I played. It truly was a spoilt year for great games last year!!

Can't wait to finish Witcher 2 and buy Ori Blind Forest Definitive.
Happy to own Witcher 3 without touching it...
