EVO 2016 Finals to be Held at 12,000 Seat Sporting Arena

Last night, Joey "Mr. Wizard" Cueller and Mike Ross announced details for this year's EVO Championship Series fighting game tournament, including the fact that the finals will be held at a popular UFC venue, Mandalay Bay Events Center.

The official lineup for the event includes nine games: Street Fighter V, Guilty Gear Xrd Revelator, Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3, Pokken Tournament, Super Smash Bros. Wii U, Super Smash Bros. Melee, Killer Instinct, Mortal Kombat X, and Tekken 7: Fated Retribution.

EVO 2016 is being held at the Las Vegas Convention Center from July 15 - 17, but the Sunday Finals, featuring Street Fighter V, Super Smash Bros. Melee, Mortal Kombat X, Guilty Gear Xrd Revelator, and Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 will take place at Mandalay Bay. This 12,000-seat arena has played host to over 20 UFC events, high-profile boxing matches like Amir Khan vs. Zab Judah, WWE Raw, and a handful of NBA preseason games between the LA Clippers and Denver Nuggets.

Praying that BlazBlue: Central Fiction + Persona 4 Arena Ultimax 2.0 can come to English regions in time...
The latter becoming more of a Duke Nukem fiasco as of late.
