The first major update to Pro Evolution Soccer 2016 is now available, with a host of additions headlined by the arrival of current rosters.
The update, which was released last week on the 29th of October, introduces a raft of additions. The most notable is the update to squad rosters, which will now reflect all arrival and departure of players over the recent transfer window which ended in September. Further, squads will now feature any youth players that have been given squad numbers to bring them up to date with the emergence of the upcoming generation of players. Player form is also set to be included in the game. Konami stated that the real life form of players will be monitored and updated weekly to reflect this.
Alongside these, new kits are now included in the game. All Ligue 1, La Liga BBVA, and Segunda Division teams now have their current season kits, while new Serie A kits have also been added. A number of kits for individual teams have also been included, with Galatasary, Flamengo, and Independiente, among others, updated. The Player ID system will now assure that the movement style of over seventy additional players is replicated in the game, with Yehven Konoplyanka, Jordan Ibe, and Burak Yilmaz now a part of the system. New boots have also been added, as well as updates to "billboards and stand décor" and a handful of gameplay tweaks.
In their official statement provided to NZGamer.com, Konami reiterated their ongoing support of the title, with this only the first update released over the course of the year. PES 2016 has been available in New Zealand since September on Playstation 4, Xbox One, Playstation 3, and Xbox 360.
