Mad Catz Street Fighter V FightStick Revealed

Mad Catz have unveiled a brand new Street Fighter V branded FightStick controller due to release before the upcoming and hotly anticipated fighting game. It will be compatible with a host of games on both Playstation 4 and Playstation 3.

The controller, which is advertised as competition ready, features artwork of iconic Street Fighter character Chun Li on the faceplate, which Mad Catz mentions can be swapped and customised. The FightStick itself is constructed with Premium Sanwa Denshi parts, which are used in Japanese arcade machines. Mad Catz emphasises the durability of the controller throughout it's product page.

The FightStick will also allow access to a compartment for storage and the components themselves for ease of use. As well as Capcom's upcoming fighter, the FightStick will also support compatibility with Mortal Kombat X, Tekken Tag Tournament 2, Injustice Gods Among Us Ultimate Edition, and Persona 4 Arena Ultimax, among many others.

Currently only available for the US, Gamespot make mention of European preorder details coming soon. As such, New Zealand gamers can likely expect an announcement on availability here soon. The FightStick is due for release in the US in the upcoming Holiday period, prior to Street Fighter V's expected launch in March 2016.
