All Blacks Rugby Challenge 3 Announced, Includes Sevens

The next All Blacks Rugby Challenge game has been announced for a 2015 release, and will include the first-ever videogame adaptation of the Rugby Sevens.

All Blacks Rugby Challenge 3 is being developed by Melbourne-based Wicked Witch Software, and features official licensed teams including the All Blacks, Wallabies, Springboks, the English national team, and more. As well as the new Sevens mode, the game introduces Be a Pro mode, which lets you "join a club team as a rookie and control your own destiny over 13 action packed seasons," and a new FanHub that lets fans create their own players and teams.

Over 11 different competitions are featured, including Super Rugby, the ITM Cup, and Curry Cup, all commentated by Grant Nisbett and former All Black turned commentator Justin Marshall. French commentary is provided by Eric Bayle and Thomas Lombard.

The first two games in the series were created by Kiwi developer Sidhe, and came out in 2011 and 2013, respectively. All Blacks Rugby Challenge 3 is coming to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC in the fourth quarter of 2015.

Edit: Corrected the name of the ITM Cup, which this article previously called the ITM Championship.

Hmmmmm. I'm always dubious when it's on old gen as well as current. Depends if they're going to make a good version and then port down to old gen or if old gen will restrict their development.

absolutely this. Will be just updated rosters with not really technological upgrades unfortunately. A more in depth career mode would be great. Rugby Challenge 1 was great but 2 was more like a dlc update and 3 will be much the same.

Was going to get Rugby League Live 3, but think I will wait for this. Looks like I will be leading Bay Of Plenty to another virtual ITM Cup victory!

RC 2 wasn't a bad game. With a few tweaks this could finally be the rugby game we have been waiting for.

Coming up RWC time that fire and hype is in the air. As much as I would like to grab this during that time, it's typically not the game I'll run out and grab straight away as I feel the game isn't worth day one prices (from previous experience) and even several months later the prices seem to hold longer than others. Who knows, it might be a gem.

Also feel the same as what Tom mentioned.

What I'm confused about is, it's the same publisher as RLL3, surely both titles will cannibalise each others sales?
