The next All Blacks Rugby Challenge game has been announced for a 2015 release, and will include the first-ever videogame adaptation of the Rugby Sevens.
All Blacks Rugby Challenge 3 is being developed by Melbourne-based Wicked Witch Software, and features official licensed teams including the All Blacks, Wallabies, Springboks, the English national team, and more. As well as the new Sevens mode, the game introduces Be a Pro mode, which lets you "join a club team as a rookie and control your own destiny over 13 action packed seasons," and a new FanHub that lets fans create their own players and teams.
Over 11 different competitions are featured, including Super Rugby, the ITM Cup, and Curry Cup, all commentated by Grant Nisbett and former All Black turned commentator Justin Marshall. French commentary is provided by Eric Bayle and Thomas Lombard.
The first two games in the series were created by Kiwi developer Sidhe, and came out in 2011 and 2013, respectively. All Blacks Rugby Challenge 3 is coming to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC in the fourth quarter of 2015.
Edit: Corrected the name of the ITM Cup, which this article previously called the ITM Championship.
