Warner Bros. have announced some new DLC for Batman: Arkham Knight to be released in August.
Warner Bros., who have stated that this and all future DLC will be worked on by Rocksteady, announced that content related to Tim Burton's Batman films will be coming to Arkham Knight next month. The DLC will be available to season pass owners first, with a wide release to happen afterward.
The Batman: Arkham Knight DLC for August is as follows:
The 1989 Batmobile Pack features the suit and bat mobile used by Michael Keaton in Tim Burton's two Batman films. There will also be a pair of race tracks inspired by the 1989 film's sequel, Batman Returns, released in 1992.
The Bat-Family Skins Pack features a handful of alternate costumes for the game's playable characters, based on their appearance in comic storylines. From left to right are 1970s Batman, Iconic Grey and Black Batman, Arkham Origins Batman, 1990s Catwoman, the Original Arkham Knightwing, and One Year Later Robin.
As a reminder, the game's Batgirl DLC is available this week for Season Pass holders.
Batman: Arkham Knight released last month for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. The game's PC launch has been controversial, after it was suspended from sale after a raft of issues that Rocksteady are currently working to fix. There have also been allegations that Warner Bros. knew about the issues prior to launch.
The game fared much better on consoles however, with Angus concluding our review by stating it is a "fitting swan-song for Rocksteady that is sure to satisfy even the most dedicated of fans."
