Jason Voorhees Joins Mortal Kombat X in May

The first DLC character for Mortal Kombat X, Jason Voorhess from the Friday the 13th film series, will be available to Kombat Pack holders from May 5.

Netherrealm announced the release date during their Kombat Kast livestream today, though no gameplay footage of Jason was shown. People who don't have the Kombat Pack will be able to purchase Jason separately a week later, but individual pricing isn't available yet.

As well as Jason, the Kombat Pack includes three other characters, which will be available later on: Predator (from the film series of the same name), Tanya, and Tremor. It also includes a variety of character skins, some of which will also be included in the standalone Jason DLC.

For more information on Mortal Kombat X, which came out last week on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC, see our review.

Would be funny if they made him realistic to the movies. He only walks, and cant jump, and his moveset will be limited .
