Hundreds of PC Games Discounted in Origin Sale

EA are currently running a big sale on the Origin PC gaming platform, with big discounts on a large number of games, including the likes of Dragon Age: Inquisition, The Sims 4, and Battlefield 4 Premium Edition.

The deluxe editions of Dragon Age and The Sims 4 are both half price, down to $49.99 from $99.99, while the regular editions of each are $44.99 instead of $89.99. Other notable discounted games include Battlefield 4 Premium Edition ($39.99), Titanfall Deluxe Edition ($39.99), Mass Effect Trilogy ($17.49), and Need for Speed Rivals: Complete Edition ($29.99).

In total, there are 310 games and add-ons discounted, and you can see the full list on Origin's sales page. There is no mention of when the discounts might end.

Dragon Age: Inquisition and The Sims both released late last year, in November and September, respectively. Dragon Age was widely applauded and won numerous Game of the Year awards, and though praise for The Sims wasn't quite as universal, it was still generally met with a warm response.

I didn't think Origin had hundreds of PC games, is 90% of the sale just random DLC?
