Nate Wells, the lead artist on The Last of Us, has found a new home with Tomb Raider developer Crystal Dynamics, as the studio's newest art director.
Both Wells and Crystal Dynamics announced the news on Twitter today:

Neither party has specifically mentioned what project Wells is working on, but Rise of the Tomb Raider, a sequel to 2013's Tomb Raider reboot, is the only announced game currently in development at the studio.
However, Crystal Dynamics began teasing a new IP in 2012, saying that would be "fresh and familiar," and similar to Tomb Raider. There has been no official word on that project in a couple of years, but a LinkedIn profile for an associate producer at the studio, Kari Hattner, mentioned "unannounced projects (2014 release or later)" in June this year, hinting at the possibility of that game, or something else entirely, still being in development.
Wells spent 13 years with BioShock developer Irrational Games, before joining Naughty Dog in 2012 to work on The Last of Us. In April this year, he left Naughty Dog to join Giant Sparrow, the studio behind The Unfinished Swan.
