The Last of Us: Game of the Year Edition Heading to PS3

Sony have announced The Last of Us: Game of the Year Edition, which will release for PlayStation 3 on November 11.

The Game of the Year Edition includes the base game, as well as all major DLC: Left Behind, the singleplayer prequel chapter; Abandoned Territories and Reclaimed Territories multiplayer map packs; and Grounded Mode, a harder difficulty setting for the singleplayer campaign.

"We’re really happy to announce that in Europe from 11th November, you’ll be able to get your hands on The Last of Us Game of the Year Edition," wrote SCEE product Manager Alex Moyet on PlayStation Blog. "With over 250 Game of the Year Awards, and countless other industry accolades under its belt including five BAFTAs, there really are few games that deserve the title as much as The Last of Us."

The game is priced at €39.99 across Europe, but a New Zealand RRP hasn't been announced yet.

Weird that this is coming so much later than the PS4 version. But I guess it's great for PS3 only users who haven't played it since it's a pretty sweet deal.

I'm looking forward to the Retro PS1 Edition, which later comes to PS3 as a PS one Classic. Oh, and also the Xperia smartphone edition.
