Michael Knowland, lead character artist for the award-winning The Last of Us, is the latest in a series of high-profile departures from Naughty Dog.
It was revealed by Twitter user superannuation last night that Knowland's LinkedIn profile says he left Naughty Dog in April 2014. The reasons for his leaving has not been revealed, but it follows a string of other exits from the company.
Last week, The Last of Us lead artist Nate Wells confirmed he had left the company to join indie developer Giant Sparrow, while Uncharted series creative director Amy Hennig and Justin Richmond, who had been the game director for the upcoming PS4 Uncharted game, both left in March. Hennig went on to join EA's Visceral Games to work on a new Star Wars project, while Richmond joined League of Legends developer Riot Games.
