New Screenshots Released of The Witcher 3

CD Projekt Red, the Polish developer behind The Witcher game franchise (which itself is based on a series of books by Polish author Andrzej Sapkowski), have released new screenshots today for the upcoming series finale, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.

The screens, which you can see below, were published on the game's official forums by Marcin Momot - CD Projekt Red's community manager - and announced via Momot's Twitter account.

The final part in CD Projekt RED's trilogy, Wild Hunt takes The Witcher franchise into the open-world RPG genre for the first time. After being lauded for its genre-redefining gameplay, meaningful choices, and deep combat, the new entry in the series is some 30 times larger than previous Witcher games and 20% larger even than Skyrim, expected to take around 100 hours to complete.

One game I have always wanted to play but never had a PC that could cope, so pleased this is coming to consoles.

Never played any of the Witcher series but if the screen shots from this new game are anything to go by, then I would definitely take a good look.

Have always been interested, never played.
Open-world, bigger than Skyrim, 100+ hours = Sounds like a winner to me.

This looks pretty mean. I have never played any other Witcher game before so keen to give this a go.

Sounds like a game I'd enjoy playing, that I won't because I won't have the time to dedicate to it.

Unfortunately, I may be in the same predicament.

As long as that 100 hours is entertaining and doesn't grind too hard this'll be a GOTY contender for me.
