Update: Naughty Dog have now confirmed that Left Behind, new singleplayer DLC for critically acclaimed The Last of Us, will release on February 14th.
The first story DLC for Naughty Dog's The Last of Us, a prequel focusing on Ellie, could be releasing on February 14, if a photo of an unconfirmed PlayStation 3 store ad is to be believed. However, Naughty Dog have not officially announced a date.
The ad was found and shared by NeoGAF user Little Toaster, and as well as stating the February 14 release date, it says that the US$14.99 DLC package will include a dynamic PS3 theme and a digital comic.
According to Polygon, the date was corroborated by the American PlayStation Network webstore, which was taking digital preorders for the DLC, titled Left Behind. However, trying to load the preorder listing now, (or even that for The Last of Us itself) returns an error. Navigating to the preorder listing via the console PSN store, however, does indicate that the release date is correct.
Left Behind was announced last November, and will focus on Ellie (one of the protagonists of the main game) and her best friend Riley before the events of The Last of Us. No local pricing for the new content has been revealed.
