Ever since it was revealed that the Xbox One would be incompatible with existing headsets, gamers have been on the lookout for more information about what options they'll have when the new console releases in November.
As revealed at E3, Turtle Beach will have the only compatible headsets at launch, with their X04 and X07 models. That doesn't mean they're your only options, however, as revealed by Xbox Support on Twitter:
@craigfellows We are working to develop an adapter for current wired headsets to connect. More details as we approach launch. ^PS— Xbox Support (1-5) (@XboxSupport) June 26, 2013
The Xbox One itself does not include a headset, like the Xbox 360 did, as the included Kinect hardware will be used for basic chat functionality instead, by way of its included microphone.
