THQ have announced that Enter the Dominatrix, originally planned as a DLC addon to Saints Row: The Third, has been cancelled. The content, however, has not been scrapped; instead, it will be upgraded and included in a new "full price, full length" game that has otherwise not been announced.
The news was revealed in an interview with GamesIndustry International, in which Jason Rubin (THQ's new President) admitted that Saints Row was critical to the publisher's ongoing existence. Saints Row is one of few positives in the beleaguered organization's portfolio, with THQ reporting a loss of more than $300 Million dollars for the 2012 financial year.
No additional details about the new Saints Row game were provided, however original developers Volition are still involved. We've added the game to our system as Saints Row 4 for now, to allow you to take advantage of our game following system.
