Update - 5:45pm: They're available now! If you're an Ambassador, you'll be able to "redownload" the games the same way you downloaded the NES Ambassador games back in September.
Update - 10:45am: The details have been confirmed to be the same in New Zealand, too, with the games detailed below to become available to Kiwi Ambassadors from the 16th of December. That's tomorrow. Thanks to @polg on Twitter for the tip!
Original story follows...
After the 3DS price crash back in July, Nintendo advised that early adopters of the system (which they labeled Ambassadors) will be getting a bunch of freebies - including ten Gameboy Advance (GBA) games.
Those games were never fully detailed in any territory, with the initial announcement including just five of the ten titles that would be included.
Today, however, Nintendo has finally unveiled the full list - in Japan. Based on previous eShop releases, and the fact that the promised to get the games out "by the end of 2011" (which has less than three weeks left), we expect that we won't be too far behind.
Here's the list:
• F-Zero: Maximum Velocity
• Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones
• Kirby & The Amazing Mirror
• Mario Kart: Super Circuit
• Mario vs. Donkey Kong
• Metroid Fusion
• The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap
• Wario Land 4
• WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgames
• Yoshi's Island: Super Mario Advance 3
The italicized games are titles that were also included in the initial NZ / Australian announcement - all five of which are included here. While that doesn't guarantee that we'll get the other five games, there would seem to be a better than average chance of it, since all of them were also released in English.
We expect to find out about Nintendo's plans for other territories - including New Zealand - soon.
