New L.A. Noire Gameplay Trailer

Rockstar have released a new gameplay video for the upcoming detective action game L.A. Noire. Featuring incredible animation technology, Rockstar's new title promises to be more than just a GTA clone. Players will need to interrogate suspects and hunt for clues, using their intuition much as a real detective might to figure out what's going on around them.

The first in a series of in-depth gameplay videos for L.A. Noire, "Orientation" (embedded beloew) is an overview of the game's core mechanics from searching for clues, to the fundamentals of witness interrogation, and classic action including brawling and shootouts. Using all in-game footage, this first gameplay video in the series explains how your detective skills, intuition and cunning have the power to make or break each case.

L.A. Noire is coming to Xbox 360 and PS3 in May, from Rockstar's Team Bondi, who are based just across the ditch in Sydney.

Has potential GOTY written all over it, although the game I'm really hanging for this year is Uncharted 3.

As long as Mrs White wasn't also involved then it's cool.
