New L.A. Noire trailer

With Red Dead Redemption now complete, Rockstar's attention is rapidly moving to their Next Big Thing, Team Bondi's L.A. Noire.

This new trailer showcases the gritty 1940's setting for the upcoming crime drama, along with their incredibly impressive facial animation technology.

First announced back in 2006, the noire setting and the relationship with Rockstar have created something of a cult following for the title, despite very little being known about it.

It's not due until sometime in the first half of 2011, at which time it will allow gamers to take on what it really means to be a detective.

Promising a combination of action, clue-finding and interrogation, it sounds like you'll need to actually analyse the actor's performance to ascertain whether they're telling the truth or not.

That's one hell of a premise and one we can't wait to see in action for ourselves when it comes out next year.

In the meantime, check out this new trailer:

I'm hoping R* do a mish based around the famous UFO appearance at 0200 feb25 1942 over L.A. The ufo hovered, moving slowly over the city. Over 1400 shells were fired at the craft and photos show them impacting right around and by it, yet causing no damage. With official disclosure looming nearer & nearer, putting these kinds of events which obviously happened, into media like games, gets people used to the idea that ufos are not a joke & that they need not panic(the vatican's announcement that ets are not demonic is another example of this).
