Kane & Lynch Return Next Year

Namco Bandai Partners has announced that they will distribute Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days in New Zealand on PlayStation 3, PC and Xbox 360 in 2010.

IO Interactive’s Kane & Lynch: Dead Men may have been a controversial mess for Eidos - with journalists losing their jobs - but Square Enix Europe has seen fit to bring on a sequel for the twisted duo under the Eidos brand.

Titled Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days, it’s a “raw and brutal crime shooter” designed to take players on an intense story experience, following two of gaming’s most disturbed criminals, through the gritty Shanghai underworld.

Check out the announce trailer:

Niels Jørgensen, general manager of IO Interactive comments:
“Gamers are always looking for something new and that is exactly what they are going to get with Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days. A special thanks to gamers worldwide for their feedback. They are certainly in for a shock as we, with immense pride, welcome back our two dear, violent and somewhat unfortunate friends.”

Haha, looking good. Looks like they're adding more comedy to it, I was hoping the next K&L game would have been more in the past, showing how they got into the criminals they are now.

And i'm sure they are going to be more older than before...

Lets just hope its a bit better then the first one.

The original had some pretty stellar set-pieces, but the gameplay just didn't deliver in the end.
