Sea of Thieves’ Final Testing Phase Open to All, Begins Soon

Sea of Thieves’ Final Testing Phase Open to All, Begins Soon

If you can’t wait to sail the ocean alongside friends when Sea of Thieves releases in early 2018, developer Rare has some good news for you. Everyone that signs up to the Insider Programme before December 1 will get access to the game’s upcoming technical alpha.

From Rare’s engagement manager Emma Bridle (via Xbox Wire):

Joining the Insider Programme is free – you just need to have an Xbox Live account (or set up a new one) and be 18 years or older to sign the NDA. As Sea of Thieves is an online multiplayer game, Xbox Live Gold membership is also required when sailing the seas on Xbox One. Please remember that these Technical Alpha play sessions are purely for the benefit of our Insiders and are currently under NDA, so they can’t be streamed or captured!

This will be the final technical alpha – meaning this will be your last chance to play the game before it releases in early 2018. Xbox One and Windows 10 PC players can sign up here.

Are you excited for Sea of Thieves? Did you manage to get in on any of the earlier testing phases? Let us know in the comments below!
