PUBG to Get Physical Release on Xbox One, ‘Huge News’ Coming Soon

Developer Bluehole announced that the Xbox One version of PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds will also see a physical release. The game – which is currently on Steam Early Access on PC – is slated to arrive on Microsoft’s console later this year.

The developer made the announcement on Twitter:

They then clarified, saying that a “physical release for PUBG isn’t confirmed to be coming on Xbox launch,” but that it is something that the game’s creator Brendan “PlayerUnknown” Greene wants to do.

This was shortly followed by another Tweet, saying that “huge news” is coming soon for the game, including a “closer look” at the release date for the Xbox One version.
