South Park: The Fractured But Whole Changes Difficulty Based on Skin Colour

Your character’s skin colour in Ubisoft’s upcoming South Park: The Fractured But Whole will affect the difficulty level. As reported by Eurogamer, the changes won’t have an impact on combat, but will alter NPC interactions and money earned.

According to Kotaku, the game will also respond to users’ gender options, which include male, female, and “other.” The game then offers further granularity, with cisgender and transgender selections.

South Park: The Fractured But Whole releases October 17 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

This is amazing. A tongue-in-cheek dig at racism in today's society in their own unique way is why I love Matt Stone and Trey Parker.

I hope people don't get up in arms about it and force Ubisoft to remove this feature.

This is so awesome! Love the humor these guys have and how they poke fun of everything in the world.

There better be a snowflake option for all the butthurt people that get highly offended by this.

And you'll have to wait until night time to do outdoor missions - your health deteriotrs during day time missions.

There's no way Matt Stone and Trey Parker would allow that I think. I think it's incredible and only ramps up my excitement for this game even more now. Plus it comes bundled with the Stick of Truth too doesn't it?

When's the option to play as a young 2017 NZ Polynesian boy in a house of 6 kids, with a single mother working 3 jobs?

I think it's genuinely great social commentary on white privilege.
It would be great if it caused people to actually stop and think..
