Developer Guerrilla announced an expansion for Horizon Zero Dawn at E3 last month, but that doesn’t mean they’re letting the base game hang. Patch 1.30 – available to download today – adds a bevy of new features and bug fixes.
One of the major additions is New Game+. Here’s the run-down, via community manager Jeroen Roding on the PlayStation Blog:
With New Game+ you will be able to relive the adventures of Aloy without losing your character progression and your collected inventory. You won’t be able to progress beyond the level cap of 50, but you can still collect XP during your adventure.
If you’re looking for more of a challenge, a new difficulty mode is also available. Ultra Hard “will enhance machine senses and behaviour and other additional smaller tweaks.”
New Game+ also has two new trophies, and facepaint/Focus options.
