Microsoft are supposedly hiring for a game "similar to Horizon Zero Dawn", if a job listing on Linkedin is to be believed.
Reported by mspoweruser, the listing doesn't specify much beyond Microsoft looking for a Lead Environment Artist:
And while he doesn't work for Microsoft directly, Sanders owns a recruitment agency which specialises in game industry talent.
The post was published two months ago, but this also means we'll have less of a wait for any further news, as the game is hopefully under development already.
Exactly which aspect of Guerrilla Games' latest release Microsoft are trying to emulate is unclear - whether it's the vibrant aesthetic, female protagonist, primal technology, future-style Earth, the open-world design, or even a mixture.
