In celebration of, and as a thank you to the millions of players who supported Pay to Give last week, Electronic Arts announced during their EA Play Press Conference that they would let players around the world try out some of their best EA games for free until June 19 (June 18 in the US).
For a limited time, Xbox Live Gold members will have free access to EA Access titles on the Xbox One; PC gamers will have free access to Origin Access; and PlayStation 4 players will have access to free game trials for Madden NFL 17, FIFA 17, TitanFall 2, UFC 2, and Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2. PlayStation 4 players who already own Star Wars: Battlefront will also be able to play all the title's premium maps and heroes - all of this from today through until June 19 (here in NZ).
The reason for doing this, as EA say in their official post is because:
EA believes Play and Inclusion are ideas that go hand-in-hand, which is why we came together last week for Play to Give and by contributing $1 million to outstanding charities United Nations HeForShe, PACER’s National Bullying Prevention Center and Ditch the Label.
All of you — our many millions of players out there — showed your support. You came out to play, as more than 5.7 million active players participated in the Play to Give in-game challenges from June 2-4. We were moved by your tremendous show of support.
So for the next week, enjoy your free games.
