Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen Coming to PS4 and Xbox One

Capcom has announced that Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen will be coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One this spring.

From the Capcom Unity blog:

Featuring a variety of unique classes, a robust system of AI-controlled companions called Pawns and intense real-time combat from the designers behind the Devil May Cry series, this epic masterwork took our hearts by surprise and quickly became a fan-favourite.

Dragon’s Dogma originally came out on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in 2012. An updated version with expansion content – Dark Arisen – then released in 2013. That release eventually found its way to PC in 2016, sporting higher-fidelity visuals and a much smoother framerate.

The game was unique for several reasons, one of which was its passive online Pawn system; players could create NPC companions, who would be loaned out to other players. As they explored the world, fought monsters, and completed quests with other players, they would accrue that information to help you on your journey.

Had this on PS3 and never got round to playing it but always wish I found the time too.
Will certainly pick this up for the PS4 sometime and get round to it asap.
Has it been announced to have any improvements like the higher-fidelity visuals and a smoother framerate the PC got? or is it a straight port (hope not)?

My partner has always recommended this game. Maybe I'll actually have a play now.

A bit late to the party, but as they say, better late than never!

I have to imagine its the PC version? The game looked pretty sharp, and din't require an insane rig to play, so I can see it working fine on PS4/XB1
