Publisher and developer Ubisoft has revealed the box art for Far Cry 5. The upcoming shooter’s cover takes some insipiration from Leonardo da Vinci’s The Last Supper painting, which depicts Jesus Christ with his apostles before his crucifixion.
As GameSpot points out, this had led many to speculate as to the themes that we’ll see in the game – including that of betrayal.
Earlier this week it was confirmed that Far Cry 5 would be set in the fictional Hope County, in Montana state. This will be the first time the series has been set in the United States.
Far Cry 5 is set to release before April 2018, but no official date has been given. A full announcement trailer is scheduled for May 26.
