The pc release isn't coming out of the 8th(not confirmed for this), i see many potential reasons, 1. they are making the game better/more optimized 2. they want people to double dip, 3. console companies paid them off.

Skillup just tweeted that consoles are 30fps regardless of version. Also, that there are no dedicated servers whatsoever, man that is foolish on the servers issue.

30FPS?
Thats silly. 60 FPS in a shooter is HUGELY important.

30FPS, p2p connection.

Guess who's not buying Destiny 2 this year!
This guy. Not getting duped.

That's the problem with consoles, even consoles hold back consoles, unlike pc gaming where you are allowed whatever your pc can give you.

Don't blame you. I am hugely disappointed in the "no dedicated servers". The 30fps is less of a deal for me even though 60fps is nicer. But I'm a sucker for the game so I will buy and enjoy it nonetheless. But if it had dedicated servers, I would probably play nothing else but Destiny 2. Instead, once the lag kicks in as the population tails off, I will move onto another shooter that does provide a stable and consistent experience.

Quite excited about this game. I think Bungie has learnt from the community each step of the way. And if the poor dev kit issues are to be believed, along with the dropping of XB360 and PS3, I think this iteration will be a lot closer to the 2013 E3 trailer that Bungie had aspirations for, It would be good to see the Rasputin DLC give us back an expanded Old Russia and more Speaker/Traveler Story arc, and the Osiris DLC give us back Mercury, Venus and the Reef, and more Stranger Story arc..
