Publisher Bethesda and developer id Software are opening the Quake Champions beta for everyone. From May 12 to 21, anyone will be able to download the game on PC and try out the fast-paced arena shooter.
Previously, access to the game’s beta was restricted to those lucky enough to get a code – and even then, the game could only be played on weekends. Bethesda is calling the upcoming beta a “Large Scale Tech Test.”
The beta will also include a new Sacrifice Mode, which sees teams of four duke it out. “Players should form their teams and choose their Champions to work together to dominate the Arenas in this fresh competitive play style,” reads the press release.
You can sign up for the beta here.
Quake Champions is currently in development for PC. No release date for the game has been given.
