Call of Duty: WW2 Officially Confirmed

Call of Duty: WW2 Officially Confirmed

Following on from leaked promotional footage last March, Activision has confirmed that Call of Duty: WW2 is real. The game will take the series back to its traditional war-time roots, but not much more past that is known.

The reveal will occur on April 27, 5AM NZT. You can head over here to watch it.

As Eurogamer points out, Call of Duty: WW2 is being created by Sledgehammer Games. Composed of former Visceral developers (better known for their work on Dead Space), the team’s last entry in the shooter franchise was 2014’s Advanced Warfare, which introduced high mobility and lateral dashes.

We’ll keep you updated as more information becomes available.

Box art was leaked for PS4 that had the "30 Day early DLC access on it" so looks like Season Pass / Paid Map Packs are making a return.

I'm guessing the game will also have micro-transactions / supply drops.

Moving with the crowd after Battlefield 1. They really are intent on burying this franchise aren't they.

Not really, but people come into cs go expecting it to be easy and get crushed. i used to be a cod kid, when it was good.
