Street Fighter V Gets Classic Thailand Stage as DLC

Street Fighter V Gets Classic Thailand Stage as DLC

Publisher and developer Capcom has revealed some new DLC for Street Fighter V. If you’re a long-time follower of the series, the introduction of this iconic stage is sure to interest you; Thailand from Street Fighter II is on the way.

As Eurogamer notes, the stage has been recreated right down to the carvings on the bells, and its memorable musical track.

The stage will be available to purchase on April 25 (later that day, or April 26 NZ) for $3.99 USD. New Zealand pricing has yet to be confirmed. If you’ve been saving up that in-game currency, you can also grab the stage for 70,000 fight money.

This is in addition to three new school-themed costumes, arriving for Ryu, Chun-Li, and Juri.

You can grab each one for $3.99 USD. These will be made available on the same day as the Thailand stage. For a more in-depth look, check out the Capcom Unity blog.

A great tribute piece. Sadly, Capcom's previously disgustingly priced DLC drove me away from their business long ago.

I have my arcade machine to provide me any Street Fighter fix I crave.

Hope they have a good remix of the music, one of the best themes.

Yes, back in the day UMK3 gave us every fighter from the first 3 games?... Nowadays you're paying extra for every little thing..

Wasn't UMK3 a full priced release a year after the original MK3? Or are we talking about MK Trilogy that lazily copy pasted in characters from MK1/2 and released the same year as UMK3 (also as a full priced retail release).
