Leaping Tiger to Host 12 Hour Charity Stream

Leaping Tiger – the Wellington-based start-up, known for their location-based friend finding app – will be streaming for charity this weekend. The group will be broadcasting for 12 hours, and will be joined by other Kiwi streamers.

The stream is set for this Sunday, April 2 at 12PM NZT. Proceeds will go towards Starship Hospital.

From the press release:

From noon until midnight, the team will be playing a variety of different games alongside some awesome Wellington based streamers and gaming community reps. Titles on the list include Street Fighter V, Overwatch, Destiny, Overcooked, Ultimate Chicken Horse, Glitterman Grove, Mario Kart 8 and Jackbox Games! 

Multiple sponsors are already onboard, including PlayStation NZ and Xbox NZ.

This is looking good and for a good cause so y'all should check it out and if you have a $ or few spare help & support the stream so we can see more in the future.

Although the above sounds like I am affiliated or work with them I'm not at all just like to encourage & support good ideas especially gaming related.

Was thinking of doing something similar to this, but for Guitar Hero or Rock Band. Was going to call it "Slaying for cancer" and all proceeds would go towards cancer research. It never got off the ground though, as I had no idea how to actually set it up.
