Drawn to Death – the hand-drawn shooter from God of War and Twisted Metal creator David Jaffe – will be free for PlayStation Plus subscribers when it launches in April. The game will be joining other titles in the April collection of PlayStation Plus games – meaning if you don’t add it to your library in that month, you’ll have to buy it normally.
“Drawn To Death, as you may know, is the 3rd person hybrid shooter/brawler that takes place entirely inside the pages of a high school kid’s notebook,” wrote Jaffe on PlayStation Blog. “All of the kid’s creative drawings come to life and battle it out in this highly competitive, fast paced, online action game.”
Jaffe also added that each of the game’s six playable characters will have 15 missions. Combat challenges will also be available for players to participate in, after deciphering riddles from a Sphinx. As you climb the ranked ladder, you’ll also unlock loot boxes.
As Eurogamer reports, Drawn to Death was originally conceived as a free-to-play title. The developer then opted for a more standard pay-for option.
Drawn to Death is set to launch exclusively on PlayStation 4 on April 4.
