New Games Releasing This Week: February 6 - 12

Don’t know what games are coming out this week? Don’t worry! We here at NZGamer.com have you covered, organising some of the biggest releases into one handy article. Remeber, you'll also get VIP points for following games – so make sure to add these ones too!

This week's major release is Nioh. Originally announced in 2005, the game follows western samurai William Adams. Players take on multiple creatures from Japanese folklore, with punishingly hard gameplay reminiscent of Dark Souls and Ninja Gaiden.

For a broader look at what's coming out this month, make sure to check out the February 2017 Game Release Schedule. For an overview of the year, check out the 2017 Game Release Schedule, which we'll periodically be updating.

Note: While this list is intended to be as comprehensive as possible, it is difficult to cover everything, especially with the growing prominence of downloadable and indie games. The dates of some releases can also shift around. If you notice anything that's missing, please let us know in the comments, or by emailing news@nzgamer.com.

I have fond memories of that game too! So much fun with the mates huddled around the tv, button smashing, cool entrances, 'big' names. Good times. Haven't bought a wrestling game since PS2 days...

Wrestling games were definitely the best on the N64. Sure graphics got enhanced on later iterations on newer consoles but the N64 games had 4 player fun on lockdown.
WCW vs NWO Revenge will forever be my favourite. Soooo many memories having late night 2 on 2 battles during school weeks.
