Injustice 2 Gets May Release Date

Injustice 2 – the fighting game from NetherRealm, featuring DC Comics heroes and villains – is slated to release on May 16, 2017 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Creator Ed Boon announced the date via a simple post on Twitter.

The game was first unveiled back in June 2016. Since then, multiple characters have been confirmed for the fighter, including the likes of Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Wonder Woman, and Blue Beetle.

NetherRealm is perhaps better known for their work on Mortal Kombat 9, and Mortal Kombat X.

Who would you like to see make their way to the roster? Any lesser known villains or heroes? What about new gameplay systems? Let us know in the comments below!

I hope there are some LEGO skins to tie in with the LEGO Batman film.
I mean, that'd never happen, but a boy can dream.
