New Games Releasing This Week: December 19 - 25

Don’t know what games are coming out this week? Don’t worry! We here at NZGamer.com have you covered, organising some of the biggest releases into one handy article. As part of our current VIP Bounty, you'll also get bonus points for following games – so make sure to add these ones too!

We're getting closer to 2017, so understandably pickings are a bit slim. Maybe use this time to dive into your backlog. If you've got a clean slate however, there are still some releases to keep you occupied. The Walking Dead's latest season premieres with two episodes. If you're more of a sports fan, then Don Bradman Cricket gets a new addition too.

Note: While this list is intended to be as comprehensive as possible, it is difficult to cover everything, especially with the growing prominence of downloadable and indie games. The dates of some releases can also shift around. If you notice anything that's missing, please let us know in the comments, or by emailing news@nzgamer.com.

I would really like to play a good cricket game as I can't remember the last time I played one that was decent. Probably Shane Warne Cricket '99 or one of the early 2000's EA titles.

Ah, Im pretty sure Don Bradman Cricket is already out, it's been available to buy on the Xbox store since the 15th. I just checked to be sure, and yep, I can buy it and download right now if I want, it's not a preorder. Also the release date on the Xbox store says 15/12/16.

I won a copy of Don Bradman over the weekend it's already installed yet to try it out but I really am looking forward to giving it a go though. I love cricket and yeah like others have said there's been a real lack of great cricket titles over the last decade.
