Grab Lost Odyssey for Free with Xbox One Backwards Compatibility

Microsoft announced today that Lost Odyssey and Blue Dragon – Xbox 360 era role-playing games – are now not just among the list of growing Backwards Compatible titles, but can also be picked up digitally.

“When Lost Odyssey and Blue Dragon were initially added to Xbox One Backward Compatibility library, they were only available to players who owned the original discs,” reads a post from the Major Nelson blog. “But the team engineered a solution and now both titles are available digitally in the Xbox 360 Marketplace.”

To celebrate the Backwards Compatibility feature’s one year anniversary, players can now pick up Lost Odyssey for free until December 31, 2016.

Relive the journey of Kaim, a mysterious immortal warrior, as he embarks on an epic adventure of self-discovery. This epic RPG is yours to enjoy as our way of saying thank you for being a fan of Xbox.

This is great news for those who liked Lost Odyssey. For myself, I just could not get into it. Really surprised me as I like this sort of thing normally.

One of the surprisingly best JRPGs I've played, went in knowing nothing about it and really enjoyed it.
If I had an Xbox id jump on this.

I loved both these games and spends hours finish both 100% with all achievements unlocked. Definitely happy about this and recommend everyone get them.
I'm even brave enough to say Lost Odyssey is the best Final Fantasy games since Final Fantasy IX. (My opinion)
