New Games Releasing This Week: December 12 - 18

Don’t know what games are coming out this week? Don’t worry! We here at NZGamer.com have you covered, organising some of the biggest releases into one handy article. As part of our current VIP Bounty, you'll also get bonus points for following games – so make sure to add these ones too!

Picking are a bit slim as we barrel towards the holiday season, so maybe use this time to dive back into your backlog. If you're one of the few with a clean slate however, there are still some releases to keep an eye on. Indie mega hit Stardew Valley is making its way from PC to console for the first time, seeing players run their own farm and village.

Note: While this list is intended to be as comprehensive as possible, it is difficult to cover everything, especially with the growing prominence of downloadable and indie games. The dates of some releases can also shift around. If you notice anything that's missing, please let us know in the comments, or by emailing news@nzgamer.com.

Can you learn to live off the land and turn these overgrown fields into a thriving home? It won’t be easy. Ever since Joja Corporation came to town, the old ways of life have all but disappeared. The community center, once the town’s most vibrant hub of activity, now lies in shambles. But the valley seems full of opportunity. With a little dedication, you might just be the one to restore Stardew Valley to greatness!

It's kind of a shame that Super Mario Run is exclusive to IOS, although that being said, it's more difficult to pirate on IOS due to their ugly, strict policies. That's not to say that they're completely immune to piracy either :P
