Resident Evil 7’s “Beginning Hour” demo will be making its way to Xbox One and PC users later this month, Capcom has confirmed via press relase. This news follows as a final update has been pushed to the horror game’s vertical slice.
The “Midnight” update – which is available for PS4 owners to download right now – brings some new content to the demo, allowing players to “explore what lies beyond the mould-covered door, where terrifying growling noises emanate from.”
The demo will make its debut on Xbox One on December 9. Steam users will have to wait a little longer, getting access to it on December 19.
Resident Evil 7 is set to release for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Steam on January 24, 2017. The game marks a shift in the series, taking the action to a first-person perspective. Fittingly, the game can be played entirely in virtual reality via the PlayStation VR.
