Ditto Makes Its Appearance in Pokémon Go

Ditto Makes Its Appearance in Pokémon Go

If you’re still playing Pokémon Go, then this news is sure to interest you. Ditto – the purple pile of goo, which takes the form of other creatures – has started appearing in people’s games, Polygon reports.

Players are reporting that they’ve caught the creature after finding low-level monsters like Zubat, Pidgey, and Rattata. Upon catching these creatures, they then transformed into Ditto. Players in Sweden, Australia, and the United States have all caught the creature.

Earlier in the month, data miners found a reference to one of Ditto’s moves in the game’s code, but it was unused.

Niantic have yet to comment on Ditto’s appearance.

That's a pretty neat idea, disguising Ditto as another Pokemon!

I caught one yesterday before I knew he was available in the game, and it was SUCH an awesome surprise. My wife and I were legit freaking out, haha.
