“Yes, it will be optimized for the PS4 Pro,” Saito said. “It will keep the 60 FPS [of the game running normally] while we are trying to optimize it to have 4K quality graphics as well.”
When asked about whether the game will make its way to the Xbox One, Saito said that it’s being considered, but it will largely depend on the success of the PlayStation 4 and PC versions.
Saito went on to say that the game will clock in at about 25 to 30 hours.
NieR: Automata is set to release for PlayStation 4 and PC in early 2017. The game is a follow-up to the cult-classic NieR, which released for PS3 and 360. The game was interesting, in that repeat playthroughs would have a large impact on the story.
