Cyberpunk 2077 could have vehicles in it, if a recent job listing from developer CD Projekt Red is to be believed.
As reported by GameSpot, the Polish studio responsible for the hit RPG The Witcher 3 Is currently looking for a vehicle gameplay programmer. Their responsibilities would include “creating the whole architecture of vehicle related code and the physics of driving / flying in those vehicles.”
Another job listing for the game has also appeared for Cyberpunk 2077, this one for a vehicle gameplay designer. They will work alongside the programmers to “implement all vehicle based game mechanics in the game.” A concept designer is also being hired, who will create technical concepts for the game’s machinery.
The Warsaw-based studio has been staffing up this year, with more than 60 positions opening on their careers hub.
Cyberpunk 2077 was originally unveiled in 2012, which was later followed up with a trailer. The game is based on Mike Pondsmith’s tabletop roleplaying game, which started in 1988 with Cyberpunk 2013. No firm release date has been given for the game, but it has got a release window of 2017-2021.
