The first DLC pack for Dark Souls III has been inadvertently leaked, reports GameSpot. Called “Ashes of Ariandel,” the expansion will be available on PlayStation 4 on October 25. A trailer was posted for the expansion on Twitter by PlayStation, but was subsequently removed.
According to Gematsu (via Games Talk and Hachima Kikou), the add-on includes news weapons like a “large sword cloaked in colourless flames,” new spells that manifest as snow-storms, and miracles that “you throw like a boomerang.” A new PvP map is also being included, called the “Immortal Arena.”
Bandai Namco announced last week that a major announcement for Dark Souls III is slated for tomorrow. It’s likely that we’ll hear more official news about this expansion then.
We’ll keep you updated when an official trailer becomes available.
