Leaping Tiger now supports Pokémon Go – the monster catching augmented reality title that released for iPhone and Android last week.
For the uninitiated, Leaping Tiger is a New Zealand made app which allows users to connect with other like-minded gamers based on their location. Pokémon Go doesn’t have any features for players to organise or coordinate their efforts – meaning tasks like claiming nearby Gyms for your faction just became a lot easier.
“It’s really exciting to have the first mobile game included in the Leaping Tiger database! We’ve been thinking about it for a while now,” reads the press release from Leaping Tiger. “Mobile gaming is a increasingly significant portion of the gaming market, and we’ve just been waiting for the right game to test the mobile waters with our audience. Reactions so far are overwhelmingly positive! Pokémon GO is really bringing people together."
