The Witcher 3’s New Patch Adds Enemy Scaling, among Other Things

CD Projekt Red has released a new patch for their massive roleplaying game The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. The tweaks are numerous, but some of the biggest changes include option enemy level-scaling, a book that shows what Gwent cards are missing from your collection, and a user interface overhaul.

The patch – which runs multiple gigabytes in size, depending on your region and platform of choice – accompanies the release of the latest expansion, Blood and Wine.

Multiple quality of life fixes have also been introduced in the game, like the ability to read scrolls and books at the click of a thumbstick once they’ve been picked up, so you no longer need to sift through your inventory to get your hit of lore.

You can check out the full list of patch notes here.

The new interface and inventory system is fantastic, everything is much easier to navigate and read, makes it much easier to select different signs and throwables etc with the enlarged icons and fonts on the wheel as well. And it could be just me, but the game seems to run a bit smoother overall as well?

The updated UI is beautiful, when I first opened the updated inventory it was just amazing, so weird how this got me so hyped, I've never really been hyped from a menu looking better, maybe this is growing up?
