Left 4 Dead 2
Published Thursday 11 Mar 2010 10:28am | Xbox 360Many were skeptic about the early release of L4D2(Left4Dead2) saying its predacessor was still riding a wave of online multiplayer success, and it had only been a year. Thankfully the team at Valve Corporations didn't pay attention to hearsay and rewarded the gaming nations faithful with a totally awsome experience.
The change of gameplay caught me offgaurd, the game its self has 4 different campaigns, but if you were to play the same campaign twice, that machete you found on your first go would be replaced with a frying pan, the boomer bile with a molotov. This opens the door for a variety of strategies making L4D2 unique to the horror/action genre.
Those who have played L4D will remember the smoker, the hunter, the boomer, the tank and the witch. The witch( the crazed little girl who could take you down in one swipe) has been altered in L4D2, now she can walk around freely (wondering witch) adding even more edge to game and catching people when they least expect it.
If that wasn't enough, the continuation of the online multiplayer (mainly versus and scavanger hunt for me) absolutely ripped the door down with a chainsaw due to the introduction of the new special infected ( the spitter, the charger and the infamous jockey).
If you want a true experience with a horde of zombies chasing you down day or night, then its worth getting your hands on a copy of L4D2 today, shooting zombies, taking names. enough said.
