A discounted novelty shirt. 12 cans of coke. A large Hawaiian pizza with a cheese-loaded crust. A student entree to see Bride Wars. Flower for PS3. What do all of these have in common? They all cost roughly around $15.

How does it differ from a discounted novelty shirt? While Flower may not have an ingenious slogan like "It's on like Donkey Kong," it's guaranteed to make you smile more than once. The musical score is sweeping and really compliments the action. And while a novelty shirt is exactly that, novelty, Flower will undoubtedly be experienced again and again with the same refreshing aura. It's simply an experience that is so unique that it's really hard to name another game that matches it. And for that reason, it deserves multiple play-throughs.

How does it differ from a 12-pack of coke? With Flower, you will feel a complete sense of bewildering satisfaction after finishing it, aside from feeling dirty and slightly bloated. The final level really blew me away and I hope it's something that a mass audience can experience. Flower is also a product that will stay in your mind, and not your gut, for a very long time.

How does it differ from a large Hawaiian pizza with a cheese-loaded crust? With Flower, you know it is a product that has had a lot of time and care devoted into it. It's not a product that has been rushed out of the door in half an hour or less just to avoid giving the customer their money back.

How does it differ from Bride Wars? Flower is actually good.

As the previous reader review stated, it's hard to say what makes Flower work. So, instead, I've made comparisons to other common products of roughly the same value that we naively waste our money away to. Flower is definately not a waste. Hopefully, this review/blog has enlightened some of you to how good of a deal this is.
