My days at NZGamer (day 2)
Published Tuesday 2 Sep 2008 4:00pm |Tags: work, experience, fifa, '09

For school we had to do work experience, which would give us 2 NCEA lvl 1 credits. Lot’s of people passed lvl 1 last year including me, so I don’t really see the point in being given 2 lvl 1 credits, which can’t be put towards lvl 2 in any way. They should make it lvl 2… <_<
I checked in on one of my friends, who followed his mum around, checking electrical stuff for some reason. He walked home at about twelve after being bored to death, so his story was short lived. I did get chocolate pudding with ice cream out of it though. Another friend was going around the schools today with the Rugby Union, giving talks and getting hassled by children for free stuff. In my opinion, my job of mucking around on the computer was better anyway. I haven’t had the chance of talking to the Lawyer firm friends. I bet it was boring…
Continuing on.
Day 2
Today (Sep 2nd) I came in a bit later, and was still hanging around outside in the cold wind. Shaun came first this time, and we got straight to it. I began to look for any news, but couldn’t find any, so I started to look up stuff about Champions online, which looks awesome, even if I have to pay subscription fees. I was then sent to find out about FIFA ’09 and write a preview for it, and about the Wii features (here). The Mii football thing looks like it would be fun with a whole heap of friends over. So that took me up until lunch, where we left and posted the comp prizes. We got back and I finished off the preview by finding some images and the footii gameplay video. That took up most of my time here, and I realized how much goes into submitting an article. It’s kind of cool. At the moment I’m finishing writing this up (at the beep, it will be 3:57pm) beep.

Overall, it was a great time that I had here at NZ gamer, and I wouldn’t mind doing it again, or even getting a full job here. Anyway, that’s it for me.
