Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception

When I decided to get into a new series that I haven't tried before, I knew Uncharted was the ticket. So I got the latest one to get what it's all about. And boy was it an adventure.

It just blew me away how much effort Naught Dog put into it, from the locations, to the textures, to the cinematic, to animation, it was just incredible. And I love how they incorporated different culture into it. Like South America, Europe, and Middle East. It shows how much work and how dedicated they are as to go on trips to deserts 100 etc. for research just to make their game as realistic as possible.

The game is a great mix between adventure, action and puzzle; as it has some really mind-boggling puzzles that could take a few hours, if you're not so bright....like me. Still, you feel very rewarded when you finish a mission, as you delve more into the journey. And become more and more eager to reveal the hidden treasure. Which isn't what it seems.

I never felt closer to a character than I did with Nathan Drake. Everything he feels, you feel too. Everything goes through, you go through as well.

Although the game is very realistic, it's still full of fiction. Like the hallucinogenic water that you drink that makes you have flashbacks of your childhood.

Overall, this a really beautiful adventure that PS3 owners are blessed with.
